Importing CSV files
FirstQuadrant allows you to efficiently import contact data from CSV files while ensuring only qualified leads are added. Follow these steps to upload and optimize your CSV imports:
1. Name the import
- Assign a name to your import for easy identification and tracking.
2. Select one or multiple CSV files
- Choose one or more CSV files from your computer.
- A sample CSV file is available for download to ensure correct formatting.
3. Map CSV columns to FirstQuadrant fields
- Match each column in your CSV file to the correct field in FirstQuadrant.
- Ensure all required fields are mapped properly to avoid errors.
4. Add optional qualifying questions
- Qualifying questions help filter your imported data using AI, ensuring only relevant contacts are added.
- Example: Set a qualification rule such as “This is a B2B company.”
- Utilize AI-powered search (e.g., Perplexity AI) to verify and exclude non-relevant contacts (e.g., B2C companies).
- This allows you to import only high-value leads and prospects.
5. Enable or disable additional qualifying rules
- Turn on or off further qualification rules to refine the import process.
6. Add an optional note to imported contacts
- Include additional instructions or context for FirstQuadrant to use when processing contacts.
7. Choose a scheduling option
Decide how you want to import your contacts:
- Immediate Import: Import all contacts at once.
- Scheduled Import: Distribute contacts over a set period to manage workflow efficiently.
By following these steps, you can ensure your contact imports are structured, qualified, and optimized for your sales pipeline in FirstQuadrant.
