# macOS and Windows apps

> Week 29, 2025 — July 14 to July 20

We're excited to announce the launch of our native desktop applications for macOS and Windows! You can now access all of FirstQuadrant's powerful AI-driven sales automation features directly from your desktop, without needing a web browser.

The native apps feature faster load times, background sync to keep your data up-to-date, notifications for updates, and better handling of large datasets. Available now for macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel), Windows and Linux, download the FirstQuadrant app today and supercharge your sales workflow with native desktop power.

## Improvements

* Added fine-tuning insturctions for suggested imports
* The navigation bar now uses "Product" instead of "Features" for clearer organization
* Contact status buttons and labels have been reordered for more intuitive interaction
* "Nothing" review tasks now have clearer titles and descriptions, making it easier to understand why no action is needed
* Email composition now includes automatic subject lines pulled from previous conversations
* The contact selector now supports infinite scrolling and shows loading states for better performance with large lists
* External links in the navigation can now open in new tabs with the target attribute

## Fixes

* Prevented duplicate account creation when users attempt to sign up multiple times with the same email
* Fixed an issue where users could be incorrectly deleted when managing organization memberships
* Unsubscribed contacts are now properly excluded from all new campaigns
* Email replies now correctly thread with previous messages in a conversation
* Featured activities in contact timelines are now properly highlighted and displayed

## Behind the scenes

* Added indexes to multiple database models for significantly improved query performance
* Enhanced the email enrichment process with improved company association logic
* Introduced an 'enabled' field for organizations to better manage account status
* Improved error handling and logging in the draft email sending process
* Added comprehensive API documentation with guides on best practices, error handling, and rate limiting
* Updated contact merging logic with better nickname handling
* Removed automatic churn notes when subscriptions are cancelled
* Enhanced documentation with new sections on active/inactive contacts, website visitors, and additional playbooks
* Improved dark mode styles for better contrast and accessibility
* Added Claude Code integration for automated PR reviews
* Streamlined URL validation logic in form transformers
* Added support options to product documentation for easier access to help resources
